GOLF STAFF

Joe Jones has been the Head PGA Professional at Delaire for 25 years.  He came to Delaire Country Club from Glen Oaks Country Club in Old Westbury, Long Island in 1987.  He is married with 3 children and resides in Boca Raton, Florida.

Before turning professional in 1973, Joe was one of the original 30 mini-tour players in America. He was selected one of the outstanding college athletes in America in 1973 and won 8 consecutive amateur tournaments in upstate New York. Joe coached the United States Maccabi Trans-Atlantic Cup Team in 1996 and in 1998 both the USA and Europe Teams.

Joe is a member of the PGA of America, a Board Member for the Vets Helping Our American Heroes Charity, Committee Member for the Unicorn Foundation and a member of the committee for the South Palm Beach Federation.

Joe has been instrumental in fund raising for JARC Charity as well as Stand Among Friends, Jewish Guild for the Blind and the I Have A Dream Foundation and actively contributes to Golf for KIDS Special Olympics. 

Joe is considered to be one of the top teaching professionals in South Florida and is a certified expert in club fitting for all major golf companies.

Steve was named Delaire's Golf Course Superintendent in the summer of 2007, following eight years as the Club's Assistant Superintendent.  With a staff of nearly 30, Steve is responsible for all golf course maintenance operations and has overseen several of Delaire's course reconstruction and renovation projects.  Before coming to Delaire, Steve served as Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Hawk's Nest (Vero Beach) and Metrowest (Orlando) Country Clubs and Eastwood Golf Club (Orlando).

Steve received his degree in Horticultural Technology from the University of New Hampshire and is a member in good standing of the both the Florida and Central Florida Golf Course Superintendents Associations.

Like Joe, William (Billy) Jones, a Class "A" member of the PGA since 1996, has been at Delaire for more than 20 years. During that time, he has been an accomplished Assistant Golf Pro, instructor, and major tournament coordinator. His golf expertise is evident by some of his many achievements and professional experiences:

• Winnings - South Florida Long Drive Champion for five years and 7-time top 10 finisher in PGA Asststant tournaments
• Participation in nearly 20 mini-tours
• Certification as a Club Fitter for both Cobra and Titlest
• Past membership on the Diabetes Research Institute Golf Committee.

Annette "Babe" DeLuca has been a member of the LPGA Tour for the past 15 years.  She is a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) Division and the Southeast Section Tournament Coordinator of the division.

Babe grew up in Palm Beach Gardens, FL and resides in Tequesta.  Before coming to Delaire, she was the Adult Golf Coordinator at the John Prince Golf Learning Center in Lake Worth for three years.  From 2005-2007, she taught at the Boca Raton Resort and Spa, where she was a lead golf instructor for the ESPN Golf Schools.
