Trent Squire, GM and COO

Trent Squire came to Delaire in 2007 after serving as General Manager of Eastpointe Country Club in Palm Beach Gardens. He previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at Williams Island Club in Aventura. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Mr. Squire joined the world of club management after a 10 year culinary career serving South Florida country clubs and as a business owner in the Midwest.

Mr. Squire has been instrumental in guiding Delaire through industry transition and economic challenges. He works closely with all departments to ensure that Delaire's operation is fiscally sound and always service-driven. Consistent member appreciation of Mr. Squire is well balanced by respect among staff for his professionalism and leadership.

 

Glenn Matusik, Executive Chef

The elegant main dining room with gracious views of the Championship Golf Course plays host to an array of exquisite culinary events creatively directed by Executive Chef Glenn Matusik. Together with his seasoned sous chefs, Garde Manger, pastry chef and food prep agents, Glenn crafts unforgettable dining that is one of the highlights of the membership experience.

A native of Long Island and 1988 graduate of the elite Culinary Institute of America, Chef Glenn came to Delaire in 1995 after 6 years at the prestigious Glen Oaks Country Club in Old Westbury, NY. Chef Glenn has served Delaire fabulous meals with style, attention and finesse for over 20 years.

 

Roger Edwards, Food & Beverage Director 

Roger Edwards joined the Delaire team in December 2017, bringing more than 25 years in the hospitality business.  His range of experience spans from fine dining restaurants in Boca Raton to General Manager of the Versace Mansion in South Beach.  Roger is a native of Brazil and came to the US in 2001, where he joined the team at Mario’s Tuscan Grill in Boca.  He worked with the Bova Group for almost 10 years as General Manager.  Roger also gained experience in maintenance at The Breakers Palm Beach, where he worked for 6 years in both maintenance and food and beverage. 
 

Neka Martin, Social Events & Catering Director

A graduate of Florida State University, Neka Martin joined the Delaire staff in April 2015 after 3 years as the Catering Coordinator at The Club at Admirals Cove in Jupiter, FL. Between graduating from FSU and 2012, Neka served in various supervisory capacities at Cherokee Town and Country Club in Atlanta, GA.  In addition to her customer relations and service expertise, Neka has served in roles that have honed her marketing, concierge and special events promotion skills.  She looks forward to planning and executing affairs to remember at Delaire for years to come.
